Since 1986 H.Turner National Medical Research Center for Сhildren's Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery has been the organizer of annual scientific practical conferences which are devoted to the current issues in pediatric traumatology and orthopedics and which unite specialists from various administrative regions of the Russian Federation.
From 2019, the format of the annual scientific practical conferences of pediatric orthopedic and trauma surgeons will be transformed into a conference “Turner readings”.
H.Turner National Medical Research Center for Сhildren's Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery is the organizer of the conference; the largest center for the treatment of congenital and acquired disorders of the musculoskeletal system in children and the center of scientific research on pediatric orthopedics in Russia and Europe.
The scientific practical journal “Pediatric traumatology, orthopedics, and reconstructive surgery” was founded in 2013 in St. Petersburg. The journal is aimed at researchers, orthopedic and trauma specialists, pediatric surgeons, burn surgeons, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, neurologists, maxillofacial surgeons and all specialists in related areas of medicine. Recommended by Higher Attestation Commission. All articles published in the journal are indexed in the abstract and full-text databases: Russian Science Citation Index, SCOPUS, Google Scholar, Ulrich’s Periodical Directory, WorldCat, DOAJ.
